Structure of the semester at Penn State
Semester rank is also often referred to as grade level or just rank. This term defines the progress of students towards their academic goals. This classification is based on the credits earned in each subject, whether it is an institutional or transfer degree.
For all students pursuing a bachelor's degree, the assessment can be used when the student self-enrols, assigns courses, changes campuses, calculates their tuition, and qualifies for on-campus parking.

Penn State Housing Options
Each Penn State campus has its own housing options. While first-year students at University Park and students not local to Penn State Behrend have to live on campus, the other campuses that offer on-campus housing do so on a first-come, first-served basis.
“In my mind, the way we've built it at Penn State, there's really no reason to opt out. We will be flexible with all of our guys.” The only two players for the Nittany Lions who have currently opted out are cornerback Joey Porter Jr. and wide receiver Parker Washington, although Washington's is due to injury.
